 Meet Joe

Hi everyone. Thanks for listening to the show! As you can probably hear we have really stepped up the fun at Superhits! We are playing lots of great music. If you ever have a request, please call the show. If I have it....I'll play it. We call them "Double dog triple dog dares!" Hey....if it is a great song...it is a "Superhit" isn't it? Am I crazy for thinking that? Ha!

"Blair's Big Brain Teaser" at 7:20 is going strong too thanks to the Westside Golden Corral! Thanks to Bob and Deanne for all the certificates. Did you miss the answer for today's question? Click here to see if you were right!

Don't forget to call the show with any information, requests or funny stuff too. If I use your voice on the air you are automatically qualified to win the daily McDonalds prize in our "On the air with Blair" feature!

Thanks again for listening. Talk to you soon. Joe

Check out this song I wrote inspired by Johnny Fulltime called "Obama Don't Dance." Click here to listen!

 Joe's Interests

General:  Playing my many guitars, golf, cooking and the Blues!   The Lord and my family are first.

Music:  The Superhits for sure....The Rolling Stones, Beatles, Eagles, C.C.R. and more....All Blues artists especially Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King and Eric Clapton.

Television:  The Food Network, American Idol, Hell's Kitchen and the old shows from the 60s and 70s.  Also the Equalizer from the 80s.  Edward Woodward was awesome.

Movies:  I have many movies in and out of my top 5.  I liked "Batman The Dark Knight", but I think I like the first one with Jack just as well.   "Tombstone" is awesome, Clint Eastwood, Cary Grant, Comedies of all kinds and the Silver Screen Classics too.  Alfred Hitchcock rocks!

I'm so sick of negative ads for political office.  I'm almost to the point of not voting for anyone because they are all so out to lunch.  As my daddy used to say....Their rear end is out of their underwear!  The major problem with these ads, besides being sophmoric and stupid, is they don't educate the public about what a candidate stands for and what a candidate pledges to do.  The ads just focus on things the other person has or has not done.  Many times an ad will talk about something the candidate voted for when the issue was a minor shoestring amendment to a bill that had a major, important thing in it which needed to be voted for.  Sometimes a politician has to vote for something he or she would rather not because the other more important issue needs a yes vote.  These slim balls that slip in these shoestring amendments need to be dealt with too.  I say lets make it a law that candidates can not do negative ads.  Make it a law that they can only tell us what they are going to do and what their record is.   If someone does a negative ad I think they should be sued for defamation of character.  Character....there is a word that has left American politics.
