On labor Day weekend, I'll be joining almost 50 other men on a 3-day missions trip to Wabash Valley Correctional Facility.
The program is called Kairos.
We'll spend the holiday weekend with 42 inmate leaders and most will be "negative leaders" (gang leaders, etc.) who are not Christians. The participants will experience the love of Christ expressed through the volunteers, special meals, and lots of cookies.

There was once a very wise man, extremely rich. In fact he was the richest man who ever lived. While it is true that money doesn't bring long lasting happiness, it does bring peace. This man writes that "money is the answer to all..things". Your food, utilities, mortgage, clothing, etc. are "things". The only way to pay for these "things" is to use money. I know there are those out there who would argue this point, but trust me on this, if you don't pay your bills you do not have peace.
I know I told you where to find this book and chances are it's on your coffee table. Read Ecclesiates chapter 10 verse 19. It's in your BIBLE. I mean to study this book, it will help bring peace to your life.

Somehow, as \I've grown older, I've developed more allergy and sinus problems then I've ever had before. The past couple of weeks, I've been trying some of the most insane home remedies and that's lead to some prankster posting a doctored phot of me in the studio. The picture is with the rest of this blog entry.
